Watson brought in all four targets for 150 yards in the Packers' 20-19 win over the Bears on Sunday. Watson contributed a game-long 60-yard reception on the second play of what would turn out to be the Packers' game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. The third-year wideout tied a season best in receptions while setting a new high-water mark in receiving yards, with the only blemish on his afternoon the fact his touchdown drought extended to four games. Watson will look to build on his first 100-yard tally of the season in a Week 12 home clash against the 49ers next Sunday.

Christian Watson Latest News
Puts forth season-best effort
Watson brought in all four targets for 150 yards in the Packers' 20-19 win over the Bears on Sunday. Watson contributed a game-long 60-yard reception on the second play of what would turn out to be the Packers' game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. The third-year wideout tied a season best in receptions while setting a new high-water mark in receiving yards, with the only blemish on his afternoon the fact his touchdown drought extended to four games. Watson will look to build on his first 100-yard tally of the season in a Week 12 home clash against the 49ers next Sunday.
Leads Packers in targets
Watson recorded three receptions on seven targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Lions. He also caught a two-point conversion. Watson has seen his involvement in the offense tick up in the last two weeks, earning 13 total targets -- the same number he had across the first six contests of the campaign. He didn't manage to turn that into much production Sunday, and he has just 76 yards combined across the last two weeks. Nevertheless, it's been positive to see Watson get more involved in a crowded Green Bay receiving corps, and he should see improved production if his opportunity remains stable.
Garners six targets Sunday
Watson had four receptions (six targets) for 39 yards in Sunday's 30-27 victory over the Jaguars. Watson has been dealing with an ankle injury in recent weeks, but he has maintained an active status throughout. The 6-foot-4 wideout tied tight end Tucker Kraft for the lead in targets for Green Bay on Sunday. Watson remains a mid-level option with some upside (assuming good health) heading into next Sunday's bout with the Lions.
In clear for Sunday
Watson (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Due to the left ankle he sprained back in Week 4, Watson had his reps managed Wednesday and Thursday, but after practicing fully Friday, he's in the clear to suit up for a third straight game Sunday. In his first two contests back from the injury after missing a Week 5 win over the Rams, Watson has recorded four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown on six targets while carrying once for minus-4 yards.
Stays limited Thursday
Watson (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice. Since sitting out Week 5 at the Rams due to a sprained left ankle, Watson has suited up the last two games, combining for five touches for 73 yards from scrimmage and one receiving TD. Most of that production occurred on a 44-yard scoring connection with QB Jordan Love in Week 6 against the Cardinals, but Watson has a favorable matchup on tap Sunday versus a Jaguars defense that has allowed the second-most YPT (8.7) to opposing wide receivers this season. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not Watson goes into the weekend with a designation.
Logs limited practice Wednesday
Watson (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Both Watson and fellow wideout Jayden Reed continue to tend to their respective ankle issues, but the former hasn't experienced much of a change in his workload. Having said that, Watson turned his two touches into five yards from scrimmage this past Sunday versus the Texans, so he'll be aiming for a stronger performance Sunday at Jacksonville, assuming he's active.
Quiet in victory
Watson had one reception for nine yards and one carry for minus-4 yards in Sunday's 24-22 victory over the Texans. Watson was coming off his most productive game of the season, but quarterback Jordan Love focused elsewhere in Week 7, and Watson finished with just two targets and two touches. Inconsistency is a major issue for Watson's fantasy prospects, but he will have a plus matchup in Week 8 with the Packers facing a Jaguars defense that ranks near the bottom of the league when it comes to receptions, yards and touchdowns ceded to opposing wideouts.
No Week 7 injury designation
Watson (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Texans, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Both Watson and Jayden Reed (ankle) are good to go after three limited practices apiece, while Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) is listed as questionable after following the same practice routine. Watson posted a season-high 68 receiving yards thanks to a 44-yard touchdown catch in Green Bay's Week 6 win over the Cardinals, and he'll look to build off that strong outing against a Houston defense that has been more vulnerable through the air than on the ground.
Another limited showing
Watson (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports. Watson has cobbled together back-to-back capped sessions to begin Week 7 prep, which comes as no surprise considering he returned to action this past Sunday against the Cardinals after missing one contest when he initially was expected to be out multiple games due to a left ankle injury. Fellow WRs Jayden Reed (ankle) and Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) also have been limited this week, so Friday's practice report will be telling for who among the trio enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's showdown with the Texans.
