Arizona waived Hembrough (back) on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. In a corresponding move, Arizona signed rookie free-agent long snapper Joe Shimko. Hembrough now will have to look for his next opportunity with a new team after spending his entire rookie season on the injured reserve list.
