Washington signed Tremayne to the practice squad Wednesday. Tremayne spent all of last season on the Commanders' practice squad after signing as an undrafted free agent in May of 2023. He wasn't able to crack Washington's 53-man roster this time around, and he will reprise his role on the team's taxi squad for the upcoming season.
Tremayne was waived by the Commanders on Tuesday, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports. Tremayne spent last season on Washington's practice squad, before inking a new reserve/future contract with the team in January. He's a likely candidate to be a part of the team's practice squad again in 2024, assuming he doesn't find a 53-man roster spot elsewhere.
