Based on the James Thurber short story of the same name, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is an upcoming adventure dramaedy starring and directed by Ben Stiller. In this film, the titular character is a bored magazine photo manager, who fantasizes and lives vicariously through his day dreams, and is soon inspired to go on an adventure of his own.
The film releases on December 25th, 2013, and stars Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, Adam Scott, Kristen Wiig and Patton Oswald.
