‘Better Call Saul’: ‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff Prequel Confirmed

Breaking Bad fans can put away the tissues. Yes, Breaking Bad is ending, but a prequel spinoff titled Better Call Saul is just beginning. USA Today reports that the network released a statement saying the new show will “focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.”

Saul Goodman, who is played by Bob Odenkirk, has been on the show Breaking Bad since the second season, and was created by writer Peter Gould, who will be producing the new show.
