Mystic Pizza Reunion with Julia Roberts & the Cast on ‘Good Morning America’

Who remembers the classic film Mystic Pizza starring the amazing Julia Roberts? Well, once a year Entertainment Weekly Magazine gets together for a reunion issue and this time it was Mystic Pizza’s turn. So, of course, Good Morning America had to get in on the action.

The cast was brought together and they seemed to have a ball together. Jess Cagle revealed what he originally thought about cast-mate Julia Roberts:

You just knew when you met Julia that she was going to be a huge star. There was no doubt in our minds, any of us, that she was like a bomb waiting to go off when you met her.

A fun fact is some behind-the-scenes info that didn’t make the air. Apparently, the cast was presented with the classic Mystic Pizza t-shirts and the three women couldn’t resist putting them on, much to the surprise of GMA.

Additional casts that reunited for this issue of Entertainment Weekly include Boy Meets World, Do the Right Thing, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The School of Rock, Frasier, The X-Files, Wicked, and a couple others.
