‘Dumb and Dumber To’: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) have returned to the big screen in a sequel to the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber. Check out all the facts on Dumb and Dumber To, due out this fall. Make sure you pay special attention to Fact 4 in order to watch the official movie trailer.

1. Lloyd and Harry Are in Search of a New Kidney

So, what are Lloyd and Harry up to this time around? IMDb reveals the plot of the new film as this:

20 years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney.

2. We Meet Fraida Feltcher

In case you don’t remember, there was a little love triangle between Lloyd, Harry and Fraida Feltcher when the guys were younger. It was mentioned in the first film and now it looks like Fraida Feltcher will be involved in the new movie’s storyline. Feltcher will be played by Kathleen Turner.

Jennifer Lawrence will actually be playing a young Fraida Feltcher.

3. Blind Billy Returns

Brady Bluhm plays Billy “the blind kid” in Apartment 4C. The last we saw of Billy was him crying on the news that he didn’t realize he’d been duped by neighbor Lloyd into buying a dead bird. Just to refresh your memory, Lloyd sold Billy a few things in the first movie, one of which was a dead bird named Petey. Petey wasn’t just dead, he was decapitated and Lloyd had taped his head back on his body. Billy tells the news crews, “I just thought he was real quiet.”

4. The Trailer Was Debuted by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show

On tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show, the movie trailer for Dumb and Dumber To will make its debut. Both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels appeared on the show to share some news on the movie and to just have some goofy fun. What’s revealed about the movie is that Lloyd Christmas is in an asylum in the beginning of the movie. Apparently, Lloyd has been in the looney bin for many years.

So, what does the new trailer show? Harry is visiting Lloyd in a mental institution and then it’s revealed that Lloyd’s been in the asylum for 20 years as a practical joke. Then, the two go in search of Harry’s hot daughter … and Lloyd thinks she’s incredibly gorgeous. Along the way, things get a little crazy, very funny, and a bit gross.

5. Sea Bass Is Another Character Who Will Come Back

The character Sea Bass will come back to appear in the Dumb and Dumber sequel, bringing his son into the mix. Wikipedia writes:

On September 8, 2013, an article reported that Cam Neely agreed to reprise his role as Sea Bass for the sequel, while Boston Bruins left winger Milan Lucic would possibly make an appearance as the son of Sea Bass.

The last time we saw Sea Bass, he tried to have his way with Lloyd in a bathroom stall, but Harry saved the day.
