WATCH: Tony Awards 2015 Opening with Alan Cumming & Kristin Chenoweth

Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth are the hosts of the 2015 Tony Awards, so the two Broadway stars were perfect for opening the show with a little medley of songs. First, Cumming began singing his opening song from Cabaret and joked that it would be the last time he would ever sing the song. Chenoweth then talked about Wicked still being on Broadway, since she was the first “Glinda” to appear in the musical. Then of course, Cumming recognized his co-host for her Tony nomination from tonight for her role in “On The Twentieth Century”. Of course, the two co-hosts had to recognize some of the nominees from tonight’s awards during their opening number. They then followed up their opening performance by introducing the first official performance of the night, from the musical “Something Rotten!”
