When Does ‘Supergirl’ Return?

In tonight's mid-season finale, Cat (Calista Flockhart, right) is threatened with being removed as the CEO of CatCo after a hacker exposes her private and damaging emails. Cat has been a fan favorite since the show started. Fans weren't originally sure if the show would even return after the mid-season finale, but great ratings are ensuring Supergirl's survival. Supergirl is scheduled to return on Monday, January 4 with all-new episodes. Unlike most shows, which take at least a two-month break during the winter holidays, Supergirl  is taking less than a month off before coming back. This means fans won't have to wait as long to have the big cliffhangers resolved. (Trae Patton/CBS)
