Who Won the ‘Top Chef’ Finale Tonight?

Jeremy Ford and Amar Santana were the two remaining contestants competing on Top Chef‘s finale tonight. Each of them received help from their former rivals on the show as well as each of their personal mentors. Amar felt a bit awkward because he had previously had a falling out with his mentor and the two had not talked in what seemed to be years. In the dining room tasting their food, were their mentors, the judges, their friends and family. Pressure was intense and emotions were running high.

So, who was the winner tonight? And, tonight’s Top Chef winner was … Jeremy Ford.

While Amar was executing dishes, Jeremy was really trying to push the envelope with molecular gastronomy. He evem created crumbles from skin. His artistry was definitely recognized by the judges. However, he did serve an under-cooked duck.

With Amar, the judges loved his flavors, but didn’t know if he had executed the details of the dishes well enough.
