So, what’s the deal with Phaedra Parks and her estranged husband Apollo Nida? We have seen Parks on the Real Housewives of Atlanta talk about moving forward with a divorce while saying Nida did not want to sign the papers.
Phaedra Parks took the couple’s two young sons to visit Nida in prison and Parks stated that Nida asked for her to return alone at some point. Parks has said that she doubts she will go back to the prison by herself.
As far as her dating life goes, Parks says that she is not dating as she is still legally married. She also says that she needs to find someone who would be good for her children.
Apollo Nida is currently serving time at Fort Dix in New Jersey while Parks and their family lives in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Nida is in prison for bank fraud and his sentence is for 8 years. Coincidentally he is serving time in the same facility as Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice.
Parks and estranged husband Nida married on November 1, 2009, just six months after Nida was released from prison. He had been jailed on racketeering charges at that time.
