In an interview with People, Sabato talked about how he has been discussing politics with Trump for a year. He also said he has never been a Republican or a Democrat, that he is an American. Speaking about Trump, Sabato said: It is refreshing to have a candidate like Trump who is so honest about his feelings because he speaks for many of us when he says we are in a bad place ... We need a straight-to-the-point person like Trump to give us a fresh start. Sabato then went on to talk about what he will include in his RNC speech, explaining: I am planning to speak for a few minutes. I will discuss my frustration and fear of how things are now, and how we need the kind of change Trump can bring. (Twitter)
