When Wells Adams arrived in Paradise, Ashley I.'s mouth dropped in excitement. Jared Haibon was relieved there was a new man to possibly distract Ashley I. Some of the others were excited for him to distract Ashley as well so that she wouldn't be crying and "bringing down the group" every day. Everyone pretty much tells Wells to ask out Ashley on a date. He looks a little puzzled, but decides to ask Ashley on a date. (ABC/Rick Rowell)
