As we know by now, Gretchen suffers from varying degrees of clinical depression. She works in PR for huge and sometimes difficult-to-manage music acts, but has never been in a true relationship before Jimmy, which makes the fact the fact that they live together all the more worrisome. FX's website reads, "Never one to compromise, Gretchen struggles with maintaining her individuality now that she’s one half of 'Jimmy and Gretchen.'" Cash reveals that Gretchen is on somewhat of a positive path this year... or at least, at the beginning of the season. (Getty)
