While Hugo Strange’s monsters run free around the TV version of Gotham City, they are also terrorizing the city in the comics. Night of the Monster Men continues this week in Batman #8 and Nightwing #6. Meanwhile, Harley Quinn has problems of her own and she’ll have to become a punk rocker to find answers. For some reason, we doubt she minds that.

Night of the Monster Men parts four and five hit stores this week, with part four in Batman #8 and five in Nightwing #6. Last week’s Detective Comics ended with both Gotham Girl and Nightwing turning into monsters, leaving Batman and Batwoman to fight monsters in Gotham. Spoiler, Orphan and Clayface are trying to protect Gotham’s citizens, but that’s no easy task. Nightwing was written by Tim Seeley & Steve Orlando with art by Roge Antonia. Batman was written by Tom King and Orlando with art by Riley Rossmo.

Meanwhile, on Coney Island, Harley Quinn has troubles of her own in Harley Quinn #5. In Eat to This Beat part one, there’s a series of robberies and murders on the East Coast. To find out who these evil knights on horseback are, she will have to go undercover in the New York punk scene. This week’s issue sees writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti back with artist John Timms.

Also out from DC this week are new issues of Superman, Green Lanterns and Green Arrow. The first issue of Shade The Changing Girl, under the new DC’s Young Animals imprint, is also out on October 5.
