Cole Whittle
Whittle was formerly the bassist for the rock band, Semi Precious Weapons. The first band he ever performed with was called Fish Nipple. Growing up, Whittle trained in classical piano beginning at age 6. He attended Berklee College of Music, and met Jonas on through songwriter Justin Tranter. Whittle was the last member to join DNCE. When asked if there's a theme that resonates throughout their EP, Swaay, Whittle responded, "I think it's different shades of the quirky existence that we all have. We have so much fun, but we find ourselves in strange situations all the time. It's dance music, but it's about funky stories about weird things that happen in love and hanging out. I think that's what it's about." (Getty)
