Takeshi Kitano as Chief Daisuke Aramaki
Takeshi Kitano is best known for reviving playing the legendary Zatoichi The Blind Swordsman character in 2003's The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi. He's also an acclaimed director, winning the Best Director award at the 2013 Asian Film Awards for Beyond Outrage. In 1986, he won the Most Popular Performer award at the Awards of the Japanese Academy. In 1983, Kitano appeared in Nagisa Oshima's Merry Christmas Mr. Lawence, which starred David Bowie. (Getty)
