On tonight’s finale episode of The Bachelor, Nick Viall sat down for the third time with famed jewelry designer Neil Lane to pick out his new fiancee’s ring. In meeting with Viall, Lane said he hopes this one sticks and he was very happy to help in picking out the right engagement ring. Viall, though he’s been down this road before, said that he still knows nothing about diamond rings.
According to E! News, the platinum ring that Viall picked out is four carats and has a round main stone with a pave border. In addition, the estimated worth of the ring is $92,000 – $100,000.

Viall ended up gravitating towards a round ring. Jewelry designer Lane once told USA Today:
I make these rings with love and compassion, and really hoping that these people stay together. And, what happens afterwards? I don’t know. If they break up, the ring, it goes to ring heaven. There are a bunch of rings in ring heaven and God is watching them — and probably trying them on!
For many, many seasons, Lane has designed the rings for the Bachelor franchise, but, according to Radar Online, engagement rings on the show contractually belong to the show. So, if the engagement does not work out, the rings reportedly have to go back to ABC.
