‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2017 Contestants – Season 24 Semi-Finals

David Ross

David Ross has survived week after week even though he hasn't been the best dancer in the competition. Paired with pro dancer Lindsay Arnold, his Cubs fans continue to vote him through each week and the judges appear to have a sweet spot for him. On tonight's show, however, we feel that Ross' time in the ballroom may be coming to an end. Up against a couple other athletes and a music performer, we feel that he is the weakest competitor left in the game. For Ross' Judges' Challenge performance tonight, he and Arnold have been matched up with Julianne Hough and will perform the Foxtrot to “You Make Me Feel So Young” by Michael Buble. As for the individual dance, Ross and Arnold will deliver a Tango routine to “Castle on the Hill” by Ed Sheeran. Outside of the show, on Wednesday, Ross will be making his ESPN debut. According to WGNTV, Ross will be a color commentator at the Red Sox-Cardinals game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Ross also recently had his memoir "Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages" released and the Chicago Tribune reported that Radar Pictures may want to turn the book into a movie. Though Ross has a lot of other things on his plate, he tells the Chicago Sun Times that he is still very much enjoying being a part of DWTS. He stated that: I can’t believe how much fun I’m having, and the competition just blows my mind. “Obviously, I’m not the best dancer in the group, but it’s just fun to be part of it ... And it shows how many people out there are voting for me, and it makes me feel the warm and fuzzies inside. I’m just so thankful. It just blows my mind. (ABC/Eric McCandless)
