Ne-Yo
Ne-Yo is one of the judges on the show and he dished to Entertainment Weekly about what to expect from him, saying: I’m not Simon Cowell-ing it, but I’m definitely very particular. I need to feel something ... I was naturally a really shy kid. Even now, I sometimes have trouble looking people in the eye ... I’m 37. I used to hold back because of fear of judgment. It’s something that I had to get over, and if there’s any piece of advice that I could give, it’s: There is no “save it for the next show,” because you’re not promised a next show. So how did Ne-Yo get involved with World of Dance? In an interview with WSAV’s The Bridge, he said: I got a call from the producers and they told me they wanted me to be a part of it This is not something that I initially had really any desire to do as far as judging on a competition show, but when they told me what the show was, I had to get involved. Working on the show, Ne-Yo has gotten to hang out with his fellow judges and told People that: We hung out a couple times at J Lo’s home. She lives on a literal compound. That’s where I realized just how much J. Lo can eat ... You’d never know by looking at her. She works out like a beast. Ne-Yo said that Lopez's house is so enormous that it was almost "embarrassing" for him and the other cast members and that she can eat a half of a pizza pie on her own. Ne-Yo also said: Jen is mom. She’s the cool mom. She’s the mom that lets you stay out late. As Ne-Yo joins the judges' panel, he drops a new single titled "Another Love Song." This is Ne-Yo's first single in two years.
