How Long Is ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Episode 2 Tonight?

Adult Swim

Rick and Morty is finally returning tonight with Episode 2 of Season 3, called “Rickmancing the Stone.” Will this be an extra long episode to welcome back the new season, or will we see two new episodes back-to-back?

Unfortunately, no, we won’t have two new back-to-back episodes. But we will have one regular-length brand new episode.

Tonight’s new Rick and Morty episode will air for its normal length of 30 minutes on Adult Swim, including commercials. So it will begin at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and end at midnight.

You may think it’s longer because Adult Swim is airing the first episode of Rick and Morty Season 3 immediately prior to the premiere of Episode 2. But the episode won’t be any longer than normal.

Thus far, we have no reason to believe that any episode of Rick and Morty this season will be longer than normal.

If you’re having some trouble waiting for the new episode to premiere, you can always visit AdultSwim.com and catch up on all the episodes that have previously aired. Visit the Rick and Morty page here and if you scroll down, you’ll see that all the past episodes are online and ready for you to view before tonight.

When Episode 1 of Season 3 premiered, it was exactly a-year-and-a-half after Season 2 had ended, just like Mr. Poopy Butthole told viewers during the after-credits scene. Now we’ve had to wait even longer for Episode 2. Some lucky fans got to see Episode 2 early at the San Diego Comic-Con, but no one is sharing much about what they saw.
