Nintendo came out of hiding!
They’ve been pretty quiet on all the big video game reveals lately, right? Well today marks an exciting day in the current age of Nintendo. The latest Nintendo Direct (done one the American and European websites) debuted today and announced a bunch of cool updates for some of 2014’s biggest games for the Wii U and 3DS. Here’s all the great reveals and news you need to know about the 12/18/2013 edition of the Nintendo Direct livestream. The United States (6am PST /9am EST) got one and so did the UK (2pm GMT).

1. Hyrule Warriors Footage Was Debuted
Tecmo Koei and Nintendo are working in conjunction with each other on a new Zelda game called Hyrule Warriors. The game showcased Link as he used a myriad of series weapon mainstays as he attacked a large battlefield full of enemies. This title (which is currently running with its working title Hyrule Warriors, which is subject to change), will be launching sometime in 2014.
2. Kirby Triple Deluxe Was Shown for the 3DS
A new Kirby game that comes with three different gameplay experiences is launching for the 3DS in 2014. Kirby: Triple Deluxe will include the classic side-scrolling gameplay the series is known for, but Kirby will now come with 20 different abilities and a new super move (the Hypernova ability). A multiplayer fighting game mode (Kirby Fighters) and a music game starring King Dedede (Dedede’s Drum Dash) will also be a part of this new game’s package. Kirby Triple Deluxe is coming to the 3DS in 2014.
3. New Footage of Yoshi’s New Island Was Shown
Yoshi’s New Island will be coming to the 3DS in Spring 2014.
4. Chibi-Robo is Coming to the 3DS
Chibi-Robo: Photo Finder was announced as a title that hit launch for the 3DS in North America on January 9, 2014. This game will allow players to take pictures of objects in the real world, which can then be played with inside the game’s world. A demo of the game will be made available on the 3DS eShop sometime in 2014.
5. New Info on the Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transfer Apps Were Provided
The Pokemon Band, which players can sign up for by January 31, 2014 for a free trial, is coming with a special gift. For anyone who accesses the app before September 30, 2014, they will receive a free Celebi. Pokemon Bank will launch on December 27, 2013 and cost $4.99 a year.
