Microsoft finally gave Halo fans their 1st look at their upcoming digital series Halo: Nightfall during the 1st day of SDCC 2014.
This upcoming show will take place between the events of Halo 4 and 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians. The focus of the series will revolve around a new solider named Agent Jameson Locke, who’s origin story and connection to the main story campaign of Halo 5 will all be explained. Fans of the show will surely get a kick out of seeing several nods to the Halo universe in the form of weapons, vehicles, locales and more. The show’s high production value comes courtesy of Ridley Scott, while the directing has been handled by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan.
Once Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches on November 11, 2014, fans will get to see the show debut on several digital platforms. Watch the vid above to get a visual understanding of the high quality special effects and action on display for Halo: Nightfall.
