You’re not like those other Black Friday shoppers, no — you prefer to go into Black Friday 2014 well-informed on the best deals possible. If you’re looking to score a Xbox One or some Xbox One games or accessories, then you’re in luck because there are some unbelievable gaming deals coming on Black Friday (or in most cases, on Thanksgiving). The Xbox One is gaining steam on the PS4, and it’s THE console for social gamers.
But what retailer is having the best Black Friday deals this year? Don’t worry, we’re here to help you sort through it all and make our recommendations. So without further ado, here are the best Black Friday deals for the Xbox One for that gamer in your life (or yourself).
1. Xbox One ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Bundle with $50 Target Gift card: $329
One of the best Xbox One deals for Black Friday 2014 is the Xbox One console bundled with Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for $329, plus you get a $50 Target gift card with the purchase. That $50 gift card is almost enough to purchase a brand new game. I recommend buying the console, keeping Black Flag if you haven’t played it yet, and selling the Assassin’s Creed: Unity download code on eBay, putting that money towards another game more worth your time. The sale starts at 6PM on Thanksgiving.
2. Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle with $30 Walmart gift card
If you’re not into playing as a time traveling assassin, how about playing as the Xbox’s most recognizable figure: Master Chief. Walmart will be selling the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle for $329 plus a $30 Walmart gift card on Black Friday, and the major retailer is literally the only store offering the deal. So, if you want to relive classic Halo games, earn access to the Halo Guardians beta and watch the new Halo: Nightfall series, pick up this bundle from Walmart. Walmart’s Black Friday sale will begin at 6PM on Thanksgiving Day.
3. Amazon Video Game Deals
It wouldn’t be a Black Friday deals list without some actual video game bargains, right? Amazon is probably your best bet for grabbing some great games for your brand new shiny Xbox One, since you won’t have to wait in line for them. Amazon currently has some great Xbox One games on sale, such as Madden 15: Ultimate Edition for $59.99 ($10 off), Wolfenstein: The New Order for $29.99, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for $45.92. And, of course, keep an eye out on Amazon for their REAL Black Friday deals, which will undoubtedly be announced closer to the biggest shopping day of the year.

4. ‘Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’ for $30
Groupon Goods just released their Black Friday ad, and oddly enough the discounter opted to provide percentage discounts instead of giving hard prices. Still, we can decipher one very interesting deal that is close to what will be available at retailers on Black Friday. Groupon will be offering 50% off Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for the Xbox One (and other consoles), putting the game around $30. Or, you could go to Target and wait in line and grab it for $25, but if you’re looking to avoid the rush, Groupon is the way to go. And being that Shadow of Mordor was just released last month and is quite an impressive game, I’d say this is a must pick-up game for your Xbox One. Or, you could opt to get a Flirty Apron for 62% off instead.
5. ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ for Xbox One $49.96
The most sought after game for Black Friday 2014 is likely Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Xbox One, and the only retailer to give a great deal on the game is Walmart. Walmart is offering Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for $49.96, $10 cheaper than any other store. Granted, $10 is nothing to ride home about, but if you’re already going to Walmart for any of their other sweet Black Friday video game deals, than might we suggest throwing COD into your shopping cart.
