Xbox One Sale Price of $349 Ending Soon

Microsoft’s recent promotional pricing for the Xbox One at $349 USD is coming to an end, as the company announced today that the Xbox One price will be returning to $399 on January 3.

Naturally, this means that the promotional bundles, like the Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle or the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle, will all be returning to their originally intended price points. This also means that retailers are still able to sell the consoles at whatever price point they choose, so it’s unclear as to how major retailers like Amazon or Walmart will handle the price change. Generally, though, these retailers like to buy-in while the cost is low and then raise the price back to the original MSRP to gain negative shrink dollars to cover some of the year’s damages and the like.

For now, you’re still able to purchase the Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle via Amazon at the Xbox One sale price of $349 plus a $50 gift card. So if you were planning to use your Christmas gift cards to buy the Xbox One at the $349 promotional price point, you’d better act soon.
