So here’s some good news and some oh so sad news. The good news? Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U/3DS will be adding Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII to its ever expanding roster. As for the more depressing news, the game’s mastermind Masahiro Sakurai has stated that his development team is winding down on its slate of new DLC content. Sakurai’s devoted followers and fans of the game will get to see if the characters they voted for will also join the cast real soon. How soon? Today, actually!
Sakurai will speak on the upcoming suite of additional content coming to Super Smash Bros. in a final live stream presentation. Will Cloud Strife become available during the live stream? Will fan favorites such as Bayonetta, Simon Belmont, Bomberman or even Goku be revealed as the game’s newest fighters? And can we expect to see some new stages?
