South Park The Fractured But Whole: How to Beat the Chefs

South Park The Fractured But Whole Collin MacGregor

In South Park: The Fractured But Whole you will come across a lot of tricky foes, but one of the most annoying are the chefs in the Italian restaurant. While you will have four heroes for this fight, the mechanics and special abilities of a specific enemy can drag this fight out for a long time. Thankfully, there are a few ways to get around dealing with these cooking combatants that can speed things up.

This battle consists of the New Kid, Captain Diabetes, Human Kite, and The Coon facing off against a group of chefs. The catch is that the head chef will constantly heal both himself and another cook each round. He heals a lot of damage and depending on your moves can basically negate your previous attack step entirely. However, the head chef cannot move on his own and will only heal one chef at a time that is close to him. Because of this, a smart player can actually use the geography of the level to manipulate how this chef can heal his allies.

When the fight begins, rush the other side and use The Coon’s displacement ability to begin moving the head chef to the other side of the room. Doing so will isolate him from the rest of the group and allow you time to kill the other three characters.  Try to make use of The Coon’s Bleed abilities to cause a substantial amount of damage over time. After you wipe out the three additional chefs, focus all of your attention on the head chef.

From here, use your Super ability in combination with the rest of the heroes attacks to burn down the head chef. You will need to basically kill him in one round of attacks otherwise he will heal the majority of the damage.  After you finish off the head chef and his cooks the fight will end and you can continue chasing after Classi.

What is the displacement ability? I can’t find such thing and I can’t move on.
