“Mayhem” Miller vs. Tim Stout Set For 4/17 Strikeforce Card

A middleweight bout between Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Tim Stout has been signed for the April 17 Strikeforce on CBS card. The bout will take place on the non-televised preliminary card.

MMAJunkie.com reported the news this afternoon.

Strikeforce had reserved a slot on the preliminary card for a potential bout featuring Bobby Lashley, but company officials were unable to find a suitable opponent for the heavyweight prospect. That freed up a fight slot for Miller, who has been vocal in recent weeks about his desire for another fight under the Strikeforce banner.

Miller vs. Stout will be the final preliminary card bout of the evening and could air via tape delay on the live CBS broadcast if time permits.

Miller lost to Jake Shields in a bout for the middleweight title in his last outing. He recently signed a contract to host a third season of “Bully Beatdown,” the MTV-produced show that pits bullies against pro fighters.
