Texas-based Shark Fights today announced a completed 10-fight lineup for the Sept. 11 “Shark Fights 13” card, and it’s chock-full of former UFC stars.
The event is headlined by a non-title bout between Shark Fights light heavyweight champion Trevor Prangley and Keith Jardine. The co-main event will also see two former UFC light heavyweights compete, as Sokoudjou takes on Houston Alexander.
Welterweight Paul Daley will take on an unnamed opponent. Daley’s UFC contract was terminated when he attacked Josh Koscheck after losing a decision at UFC 113 in May. Daley competed for Australia’s Impact Fighting Championships earlier this month, earning a victory over Daniel Acacio.
Drew McFedries will take on Joey Villasanor on the main card. McFedries was cut from the UFC following a loss to Tomasz Drwal last September.
The preliminary card will see Brock Larson take on an unnamed opponent, while heavyweight prospect Dave Herman takes on Aaron Rosa.
Shark Fights will announce plans to broadcast the event next week.
