Dan Hardy Nominated For “Most Metal Athlete”

Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy has been nominated for a 2011 Golden Gods Award.

UFC welterweight Dan Hardy has been nominated in the category of “Most Metal Athlete” at the annual Golden Gods Awards, North America’s only hard rock awards show.

Hardy goes up against pro skateboarders Chris Cole and Mike Valley, NHL’s Toni Lydman, NFL’s Jeremy Shockey and WWE wrestling’s Michael “The Miz” Mizanin.

The awards show takes place on April 20 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on VH1 Classic.
