“Rampage” joins Ferguson tonight on CBS
Less than one week prior to his UFC 130 main event fight, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be featured on the “Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” tonight on CBS.
Jackson, who has appeared on the show before, will go on stage at 12:35 a.m. ET to discuss his upcoming fight. Jack Black, star of films such as “School of Rock” and “Tropic Thunder,” will also be joining Ferguson this evening.
UFC 130 will feature Jackson’s third fight since returning from a brief hiatus caused by his film career, specifically his involvement in the hit movie “The A-Team.” He returned against Rashad Evans at UFC 114 in a long awaited rivalry bout, losing via unanimous decision, but was able to get back in the win column with the decision nod over Lyoto Machida at UFC 123.
Rumors circulated as to who Jackson’s first opponent of 2011 would be, and the promotion decided on Matt Hamill to face the former UFC light heavyweight champion. The bout was originally set for the co-main event of the May 29 card in Las Vegas, Nevada, but injuries to lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and top contender Gray Maynard resulted in the 205 lb. contest jumping up to the main event slot.
