TUF 13 Finale draws average audience of 1.8 million viewers

“The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale” drew an estimated average audience of 1.8 million viewers this past Saturday night and scored a 1.32 household rating, according to MMAjunkie.com.

The event featured Tony Ferguson‘s first round knockout victory over Ramsey Nijem, earning him the title of the “Ultimate Fighter” from the latest season. Also on the card, Clay Guida defeated Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision, derailing the final lightweight champion of the WEC in the title picture.

The latest season of the hit reality series was not as successful as previous season’s, drawing mediocre and disappointing ratings consistently. The finale, however, was nearly on par with the ratings from the previous season’s finale numbers.

Regardless of the lack of viewers, UFC boss Dana White is not backing down in terms of his support for the show. The next season features Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Michael Bisping as coaches.
