Kenny Florian to commentate at UFC 134
UFC featherweight Kenny Florian will join UFC commentator Mike Goldberg cageside at UFC 134 to give play-by-play for the evening’s action.
Florian will be replacing Joe Rogan for the card due to Rogan’s obligations to taping the reboot of “Fear Factor,” a show he hosts on NBC.
UFC 134 is set for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 27 and features a middleweight title fight between champion Anderson Silva and top contender Yushin Okami. Also on the card, former light heavyweight champions Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Forrest Griffin meet in a rematch.
The opportunity given to the 145 lb. fighter to call the fights comes as no surprise, considering his experience calling UFC and WEC events in the past. However, by fight night, Florian will be only six weeks away from his title fight against featherweight champ Jose Aldo.
