Nogueira, Werdum to coach TUF: Brazil
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum have agreed to coach opposite one another on the next season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.”
That news was reported by SportTV, but the UFC has yet to make an announcement.
SportTV confirmed with sources that verbal agreements are in place.
The second season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” is set for next year. The cast is expected to consist of welterweights.
Nogueira last fought at UFC 153, submitting Dave Herman in the second round. Prior to that, he was defeated by Frank Mir. Nogueira has alternated wins and losses in his past six fights.
Meanwhile, Werdum has looked good since returning to the UFC. He defeated Roy Nelson at UFC 143 and Mike Russow at UFC 147. His lone loss in the past three years came against Alistair Overeem.
