UFC 153 prelims on FX draw one million viewers

The preliminary card broadcast of UFC 153 on FX broke into the seven-figure mark for average audience.

The number of viewers served as a promising sign, as the past couple events with prelims on FX couldn’t draw more than a million.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed the ratings today.

The average audience for FX preliminary card specials remains right around the 1.25 million mark, but no events have come close to that number in some time. The last event to do so was UFC 146, which earned 1.3 million viewers, while UFC 148 drew the most, drawing 1.8 million viewers.

UFC 153 featured a main event between Anderson Silva and Stephan Bonnar. The former earned an effortless first round knockout win.
