UFC Requests Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena For Year-End Show

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has requested the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for its year-end show, UFC 155.

The event is set for December 29 and is expected to feature a heavyweight title fight between champion Junior dos Santos and former champion Cain Velasquez.

Also on the card, Chael Sonnen will likely meet former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin, while a middleweight bout between Tim Boetsch and Chris Weidman has been officially announced.

The past four year-end shows for the promotion have been hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
