Drake and Kendrick Lamar have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, and it looks as though things have been reignited.

On Lamar’s new song “The Heart Part 4,” he raps the lyrics “Tiptoe around my name n*gga, ya lame, and when I get at you homie, don’t you just tell me you was playin, Oh I was just playin, K Dot, c’mon, you know I rock with a n*gga bro.” While many reports seem to think shots are being taken at Big Sean, there are those who think Drake is the real target.

The line” “tiptoe around my name” seems as though it is referencing the Drake and DJ Khaled song “For Free,” where the Canadian emcee refers to Lamar as “Your boy from Compton.”

Lamar’s TDE labelmate, ScHoolboy Q, also looks to have gotten in on the act with a Facebook post that parodies Drake’s cover art for the recent playlist More Life. In the new version, the image of Drizzy’s father has been turned into a shocked onlooker, while the title reads “Oh Sh*t.”

ScHoolboy has since denied the beef allegations on Twitter, but the fact remains, TDE is making waves at Drake’s expense (the fact that “The Heart Part 4” was released a week after Drake’s More Life also supports this theory). Time will tell whether the Champagne Papi will return fire on record.
