Liddell (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Raptors. Liddell will miss a second straight game due to a sore left knee. However, the two-way player hasn't been a regular part of the Bulls' NBA rotation, so his ongoing absence shouldn't impact fantasy hoops.

Remains out Monday
Liddell (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Raptors. Liddell will miss a second straight game due to a sore left knee. However, the two-way player hasn't been a regular part of the Bulls' NBA rotation, so his ongoing absence shouldn't impact fantasy hoops.
Sits out Friday with sore knee
Liddell wasn't available Friday in the Bulls' 109-95 win over the Hornets due to a sore left knee. Liddell is a two-way player who hasn't been a regular part of the rotation at the NBA level this season, but the Bulls likely would have wanted to have him on hand as frontcourt depth while center Nikola Vucevic (illness) missed Friday's contest. Assuming Vucevic's illness isn't a long-term concern and he's able to return to the lineup in the coming days, Liddell probably won't be needed to fill minutes once he moves past his knee issue.
Will suit up Friday
Liddell (elbow) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks. Liddell is available for Friday's contest but isn't expected to make a big impact in fantasy. He's made just two appearances all season long, and it would be fair to say he's currently out of the Bulls' regular rotation.
Probable for Friday
Liddell is probable for Friday's game against the Hawks due to a right elbow contusion. The fact that Liddell has a probable tag for Friday's contest suggests he should play in some capacity. That said, his availability shouldn't affect many fantasy decisions, as he's going to be limited to just spare frontcourt minutes in a best-case scenario.
Joining Chicago on two-way pact
The Bulls signed Liddell to a two-way deal Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. The Illinois native will latch on with Chicago for the 2024-25 season, though he will likely spend the majority of his time with the Windy City Bulls of the G League. The 23-year-old played for New Orleans last season, during which he averaged 0.5 points and 0.6 rebounds across only 2.9 minutes per game in just eight regular-season appearances.
Part of Bulls' training camp roster
Liddell is part of the Bulls roster for training camp ahead of the 2024-25 regular season, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. The Suns waived Liddell in August, but the former Ohio State standout will have a shot at competing for a spot in the roster with a Bulls organization that might be headed to a rebuild sooner rather than later. Liddell made eight appearances for the Pelicans in the 2023-24 regular season, but he was limited to just 2.9 minutes per game, as he spent most of his time with the Birmingham Squadron in the G League.
Waived by Phoenix
The Suns waived Liddell on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Liddell was traded twice this summer. First, the Hawks acquired him from the Pelicans in the return package for Dejounte Murray. Then, Liddell was traded to Phoenix in exchange for David Roddy. Now, Liddell finds himself as a free agent a month before training camp and will likely have to settle for a G League opportunity. The 2022 second-round pick has made just eight NBA appearances, which all came with New Orleans last season.
Traded to Phoenix
The Hawks are trading Liddell to the Suns in exchange for David Roddy on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. This is the second time Liddell gets traded in less than a month, as he was traded from New Orleans to Atlanta on June 26 as part of the deal that sent Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans. Liddell will compete for a depth frontcourt option for the Suns, but his chances of earning a meaningful role are very slim.
Traded to Atlanta
Liddell has been dealt to the Hawks along with Larry Nance, Dyson Daniels and two first-round picks in exchange for Dejounte Murray, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Liddell was not part of the Pelicans' rotation during his rookie season, as he averaged just 0.5 points and 0.6 rebounds across 2.9 minutes in eight appearances. He will now compete for a roster spot as a depth front court option in Atlanta.
