Kawamura tallied 10 points (3-7 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven assists, one rebound and one steal across 25 minutes during Monday's 120-116 preseason win over the Pacers. Kawamura signed a non-guaranteed, Exhibit 10 deal with the Grizzlies in the beginning of September. Since, the 23-year-old has continued to prove why he may deserve a roster spot with the club, and he logged a game-high seven assists against the Pacers. While Memphis has already filled its two-way spots, Kawamura could warrant consideration for a two-way pact if Scotty Pippen, Jay Huff, or Cam Spencer are elevated to the NBA level on a full-time basis.
