The Falcons placed Vrabel on the reserve/retired list Monday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Vrabel was placed on the reserve list in order to clear room for the team to sign James Washington and Jesse Matthews. However, head coach Raheem Morris wouldn't elaborate on Vrabel's situation or his future with the team.
