Nike unveiled the uniforms Oregon and Ohio State will wear when they collide in the National Championship Game on Jan. 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Missing from the Ducks’ unis will be their go-to green and yellow. Oregon will wear the away white jerseys with white helmets and grey pants.
The Buckeyes will sport the home scarlet jerseys. They are adorned with stripes on the sleeves and black numbers on the shoulders. They are a tribute to the uniforms OSU wore in the 1968 title game. The No. 1 Buckeyes beat 2nd-ranked USC 27-16 in the Rose Bowl to win the championship.
Oregon QB Marcus Mariota’s No. 8 jersey is available for retail sale for $160. OSU’s #15 can also be purchased. Running back Ezekiel Elliott wears that number.
