Tim Tebow hasn’t taken a snap in a regular season NFL game since 2012 when he played with the New York Jets.
The lefty latched on with the New England Patriots in the 2013 offseason, but was cut before the real games started.
But Tebow landed on his feet, scoring an college football analyst job with ESPN, mostly working on the SEC Network, a conference the former Florida star knows well.
His ESPN contract, though, allows him to pursue playing opportunities. And Tebow just might be taking advantage of that clause.
Ben Volin of The Boston Globe reports Tebow has been working out with Tom House, the personal quarterback coach of all-world signal-caller Tom Brady, for the past 2 years. You can read it here, but you’ll need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the article.
House said about Tebow:
He went from being a little inaccurate and didn’t throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball.
The next NFL veteran’s combine is March 22 in Phoenix and rumors are spreading that the 27-year-old Tebow will be there to work out in hopes of getting another shot.
Who knows if Tebow has gotten better at quarterback. But as the college season went on, he did get better in front of the camera.
