After falling behind 2-1, the Golden State Warriors Have locked down on defense and have allowed just 162 points in consecutive wins over the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference semifinal. Now the Warriors can wrap up the series and meet the winner of Game 7 between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets in the next round if they can beat Memphis a third straight time on Friday night.
Memphis has had few quality looks at the basket as the Warriors defense locked in, and have only eclipsed the 90-point mark twice in this series. Grizzlies defensive stopper Tony Allen missed Game 5, but said he will return for tonight’s contest.
