The women’s semifinal matches for Wimbledon have been set and one of them features arguably the two most popular players of their generation — Serena Williams vs. Maria Sharapova.

Williams defeated Sharapova in the Australian Open final earlier this year.

In fact, Serena has won most of the head-to-head matchups — 17 of 19 overall, including 16 straight.

The other semi pits Garbine Muguruza against Agnieszka Radwanska. Muguruza has beaten Radwanska twice this year. Radwanska lost the 2012 Wimbledon final to Serena Williams.
