Baltimore meet Philadelphia. Philadelphia meet Baltimore. You guys all remember each other? These two tams haven’t met on a football field since the Eagles squeezed out a one-point victory in September 2012.
The faces have changed, on both sides, since that dramatic regular season game and the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens spent the better part of this past week getting reacquainted. It wasn’t always pretty. In fact, sometimes it was downright violent. The teams came to blows during their joint practices earlier this week, with Eagles QB Tim Tebow reportedly stepping in to break things up, and players publicly voiced their displeasure at being together.
It might not have made for overly productive practices, but it certainly adds an interesting to dynamic to what might otherwise be a rather uneventful preseason matchup. Here’s what you need to know about the game and how to watch it:

Scouting the Ravens
Joe Flacco looked good in limited action during the Ravens preseason opener against the New Orleans Saints last week, going 5-for-6 for 33 yards and one 17-yard rush. Matt Schaub, making his debut in Baltimore, took the majority of snaps under center though, racking up 134 passing yards on 11-of-18 through the air.
Except more of the same on Saturday night, particularly after Flacco seemed to struggle a bit against the Eagles defense during joint practices. According to NJ.com, Flacco went 13-of-22 overall against Philadelphia’s defensive sets and frequently found himself passing directly into the Eagles secondary.
Scouting the Eagles
Nice to see you there, Sam Bradford.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is expected to make his preseason start on Saturday night and if training camp is anything to go by, Bradford is ready for the spotlight. After five seasons with the St. Louis Rams, all of which have been hampered by injury, Bradford has found a rhythm on the field and his accuracy hasn’t suffered with his knees. Reports are calling Bradford’s release like “clockwork” and the word identical has been tossed around.
That, of course, does not mean that the Eagles qusi-quarterback battle has totally ended. ESPN is reporting that Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly has been impressed by Tim Tebow. Tebow, who made his NFL return last week and even notched a fourth quarter touchdown, is working to make the team as the third-string quarterback.
