WATCH: Field Catches on Fire Prior to Steelers-Rams Game

Remember when the St. Louis Rams were the Greatest Show on Turf? Well, on Sunday, that turf caught fire.

Literally.

During pre-game intros, pyrotechnics caused the turf at the Edward Jones Dome to catch on fire. In the above video, you can see it catch fire near the bottom-right corner of the screen. Here’s a look at the moment it catches on fire:

It delayed the start of the game, as workers at the stadium were forced to bring out the ol’ shop vac to help fix the problem:

The players had to go back to the locker room during the delay, not coming out until about 1:19 p.m. ET. The game finally started about 30 minutes after scheduled kickoff.
