Analysis: The Pistons have one of the best coaches in the league in Stan Van Gundy. The challenge for Van Gundy is the team he took over had a lot less talent than what he was given in Orlando. Detroit gave point guard Reggie Jackson a massive contract over the offseason. It remains to be seen whether this was a good move. Overall, it is going to take some time in Detroit for Van Gundy to work his magic.
