Brees Completes 5,000th Pass
Drew Brees threw a touchdown in the second quarter to Josh Hill. The play not only gave the Saints a lead on Sunday Night Football, it put Brees in rarified quarterback air.
The touchdown throw was good for th3 5,000th completion in Brees’ career, a feat matched only by two other quarterbacks in league history (Brett Favre, Peyton Manning).
