It’s time to get amazin’.
The New York Mets are heading back to the World Series for the first time since 2000 after sweeping the Chicago Cubs in the NLCS with an 8-3 victory on Wednesday night. The Mets pitching has been dominant, the bats have been better and Daniel Murphy might not actually be human.
It took a little bit longer for the Kansas City Royals, but the club notched its own berth to the World Series with a victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 6 of the ALCS on Friday night. It’s the second straight trip for the Royals who are looking for their first championship run since 1985.
