Following a narrow Champions League win during the week, Madrid heads back to La Liga, where they’ve won four straight matches in advance of a clash with Sevilla. Madrid is getting better too, as this week they’ll welcome James Rodriguez back to the lineup. Rodriguez was expected to be subbed on during Tuesday’s clash with Paris Saint-Germain, but a tight finish yielded more conservative substitutions from Rafael Benitez.
After a slow start to the season Sevilla has won three of five La Liga matches, and they’ve climbed to fifth in the table. They didn’t look particularly sharp during their 3-1 loss to Manchester City earlier in the week, but Sevilla had won their previous three contests at home before Tuesday.
